Grrr. The Navy is Screwing Me Over.

I’ve been waiting on an age waiver for the Navy’s nuclear program. When I enlisted in March, all the paperwork was acquired for the waiver program including transcripts from high school and college. The Petty Officer in charge of my recruiting had gone to the various schools to pickup the transcripts necessary to submit the waiver. I know he did because he mentioned speaking to individuals at the schools that I know. There is no way he’s talk to these people without visiting them. That Petty Officer was moved to another recruiting station to head up that office and I am now assigned to a different guy.

After a six week wait, I recieved a call from my new recruiter asking if I can get my transcripts together. Quite naturally, I’m at a loss where my transcripts have disappeared to. Now I’m going to have to take time off to acquire these guys so I can likely wait six more weeks to hear a decision..

Today, I’m not happy.
