Apple Computer and Motorola have signed a deal to put Apple’s iTunes music service on cell phones.
The new service will allow users to transfer songs from their computers to Motorola mobile handsets.
Gotta say, I can’t imagine myself listening to my cell phone in exchange for a portable music device, but as a loyal iTunes customer, this looks like a major improvement in iTunes service. I have only one question. Does the cell phone constitute one of the few “computers” you can play purchased music on? That’s my biggest gripe with Apple. Perhaps they can answer that question.
