CSI:NY Review
I must say, I’m pleasently surprised by CSI:NY. I wasn’t sure how the new show would do but I give it a 5 star rating. Where CSI: is a tech-science mystery show, and CSI:Miami is a (in my opinion) poor rip-off show that resembles more of a standard murder mystery style drama, CSI:NY brings a new element to the table – Psychological Thriller.
Time will tell if the precedent set forth this evening holds fast, but I like what I see. There are three unique show flavors at present here. Law & Order: SVU is present as they present a heinous subculture style crime. Law & Order: Criminal Intent is present in the psychological intrusion into the criminal mind is readily apparent. And of course, CSI:NY would not be CSI:NY without the standard elements from the original CSI: show. MEdical science and technology is brought to bear to interpret a crime scene in a very real well.
Great job, CBS. I only have one suggestion. Let’s move CSI:NY to the 7:00 hour. I’d rather see it than 60 Minutes Wednesday with Dan Rather.

I am sick and tired of seeing white people as the criminal, NYCSI has no Asian in it? if you want to be politically correct! And why is it always a black male or female doctor? In real life is mostly Asians, jews and Indians. I lost interest in the second show already. I am not sure about Miami either. CSI Las Vagas also has the same political correctness. Lets get more realistic on color factors. Yes, I am an minority.
