I’m involved with an office football pool where 18 players make weekly picks for $5 each, winner takes all. The tie breaker is the predicted total number of points for the Monday Night football game.
I went out on a limb this week and, contrary to better judgement, picked Detroit to beat Philadelphia. It was my upset pick of the week. If I had picked the obvious winner, Philadelphia, I would have tied number of wins at 12 with one other person. My predicted Monday night score was 38 and the total was 39. The other twelve game winner predicted 35. I would have won! I should have won!
Damn…
