Top 11 Little Known Firefox Extensions

Anybody know where to get these? Especially number 11…

11. GetOffYourLazyButtAndWalkToTheFrontDoorForPetesSake 0.01 - Snail mail notifier
10. Tab-A-Licious 0.3 - Move tabs anywhere. You heard me. Anywhere.
9. MajorityNow - Surfs while your computer is idle to increase the browser usage stats for Firefox.
8. FoxySomething 0.8 - CD-tray ejector
7. ClassiqView 1.1 - Also known as “I can’t believe it’s not IE.” Breaks W3C compliance.
6. ExtendItNow! 2.1 - Pings update.mozilla.org every 15 seconds so you’ll know when it’s back up. Never have outdated extensions again!
5. BirdWatch 0.3 - Interprets gestures using webcam and adds the appropriate emoticons in IM client or email.
4. PopUpEncourager - For those popup lovers, for every popup window on a webpage, FireFox will display 2.
3. MgroeningFortune 6.6 - Pops up random Simpons quote related to the current website. Flanderiser impro-diddli-oved.
2. DDDownload 0.65 - Automatically sorts all downloaded pictures based on hair color and cup size.
1. SpamHelper 0.98 - Automatically gets all email addresses from pages you visit and adds them to your list of “customers.”

In case attribution of credit isn’t abundantly clear from the link above, this is a bbspot satire piece. All credit to them. And all that mumbo jumbo. For the record, I am being a good citizen. I do not believe there is any copyright infringement here. If I had left out a link to the story, then sure. But since I did not, the “Admin” who has a fake email address below really has no legitimate claim of me not providing credit where credit is due. However, I am a good netizen. So here’s the disclaimer.

The only mod required for mine is playing the doYQhtml() call in your template somewhere. I hook into the wp_head() function to add the javascript automatically.

Unfortunately there is no hook I haven been able to find to successfully add it to the individual article pages automatically.

While I can add it, because of the hook's location, it loses the title info, making it completely useless.

Eventually I hope to find a hook that works properly so you don't have to add the doYQhtml() function call, but until then, it's at least a simple mod :)

Hey…. Mikey!!!

Don’t you have a job interview to be at? :)

I’ll have you know, those tasks are still incomplete. :)

Sometimes petty. Sometimes not. It’s a regular thing no matter what the topic. But in my opinion, it’s better to carry on intelligent dialogue than to call people names. It yields better results.

She's about the only one that I'd vote for. A decrepit old paratrooper.
