Staying True to Myself

by Aaron Brazell on November 20, 2004 · 9 comments

I recieved criticism today, by someone I know very well who shall remain nameless. This person reads this blog on a regular basis and has had a problem with some of the content in some of the posts over the past few months. I can understand that, especially from someone who does know me personally.

But I refuse to change who I am in this blog to suit any one person. This blog is my space and my portal to the world. For so long I’ve attempted to live to others standards and about 6 months ago, I decided that was not going to happen anymore.

While I regret that content has been offensive at times, disagreeable at times, or whatever at times, I am staying true to who I am.

I hope that my readers will feel a more personal connection to me through what I write. That when I write something, they can sit back and say this guy is on the level.

Who criticized you? And for what? What did I miss? And why does YOUR post sound a lot like the one I did. Hmmm…

If you feel entries about NASCAR or other forms of auto racing might attract traffic you can check my linked blog (Full Throttle).

Or if you are looking at somethibng more on the satirical side maybe my blog dedicated to alcohol, beer, wine, and whiskey would fit what you are looking for. (

This is what you get when you send the contact form without filling in any information. Priceless!

You apparently lack the rudimentary skills necessary to send us a message via this basic mail form. That’s pretty sad.

Click here to go back and give it another try. Otherwise, perhaps you should stop jerking around and get back to work sometime soon.

Best of luck in this, and all your ventures in life, as most of them will obviously be quite a challenge for someone like you.
