NFL Week 12 Playoff Picture

Football is life. At least to me. The NFL season of September through January is the best time of year for me. With week 12 all but in the bag, and with tiebreakers factored, here is the current playoff picture. Pay special attention to the Baltimore Ravens (who unfortunately got whacked yesterday). There are two conferences with four divisions each. Each division winner goes to the playoffs and the top two non-division winners get wildcard berths for a total of 12 teams.

If the season ended tonight::

AFC North – Pittsburgh Steelers (10-1) – Home Field Advantage based on Head-to-Head Record with New England
AFC East – New England Patriots (10-1)
AFC West – San Diego Chargers (8-3)
AFC South – Indianapolis Colts (8-3)
Wildcard – New York Jets (8-3)
Wildcard – Baltimore Ravens (7-4) – Based on Conference Record, beats out Denver

NFC North – Green Bay Packers (7-4) – Based on Conference Record, beats out Minnesota
NFC East – Philadelphia Eagles (10-1)
NFC West – Seattle Seahawks (6-5) – Assuming St Louis loss on Monday Night
NFC South – Atlanta Falcons (9-2)
Wildcard – Minnesota Vikings (7-4)
Wildcard – St. Louis Rams (5-6)- Based on Division Record, beats out N.Y. Giants

Red denotes homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

    Could this be a chance for the Republican’s? Maryland is a funny situation… Nearly total Democrat, but we elect a Republican governor… I guess we trust the state to the Republican’s, but we need the Democrats to run the social services within the state, especially in Montgomery county… You know Montgomery county is special… Why do you ask? Why do so many low income people come to Montgomery county? Because it’s a handout county and we are all paying for it… No matter who or where you come from move to Montgomery county and they will make sure to build low income housing just so you’ll stay… Typical Liberalism…
