MySQL 5 to Release This Summer

MySQL 5 has reached beta status and apparently is filing all the backlogged demands in one foul swoop. Stored Procedures and triggers are some of the key Enterprise level features available with the Oracles and SQL Servers of the world but so far lacking in all current versions of MySQL.

MySQL is billing MySQL 5 as the most important release the company has ever made, fixing 10 years of complaints in one foul swoop.
