Dead.

Terri Schiavo has died thirteen days after the feeding tube was removed and numerous last minute court battles nthat held the nation hostage.

Interestingly, in the 11th Circuit Court Decision yesterday not to rehear Schiavo vs. Schiavo, the motion is unceremoniously denied with the following bit where a judge reprimands Congress and the Executive Branch harshly for their involvement:

A popular epithet directed by some members of society, including some members of Congress, toward the judiciary involves the denunciation of activist judges.

It’s way past the time for American to move on. We shouldn’t have been subjected to all of this in the first place.

God, when it’s my time to go, just PLEASE let me go. I never want to endure what this woman went through. How incredibly tragic.

Sorry, that was rather morbid of me, wasn’t it?

Just for the record — I have no plan to “go” anytime soon…

I totally agree with you Carol… I never want to be in the state she’s been in for the past 15 years. If I can’t walk to the bathroom myself pull the plug. As you stated we should never have gotten to this point. I like to listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and other Conservative radio talk shows, but I couldn’t stand the constant “save Terri” BS. As I see it she’s been in a helpless state for all these years and I just cannot believe she wanted to continue. You weren’t being morbid, just truthful.
