The border is not only open but immigrants are encouraged to cross it illegally... or shall I say "legally" with the "Guest Worker Program".<br /><br><br /><br>Who pays for these guest workers? Me. I’m ready to vote for a Democrat who has his head screwed on straight regarding immigration. I don’t think I could bring myself to vote for Hillary, but she would be the exception. I’ve always liked Bill Richardson and he makes no bones about aspiring to national office.

John McCain is a little flakey on immigration but I think his ideas are stronger than Bush’s and I think he’d be a safe bet on national security issues as well.

I can feel simpathy for the poor immigrants, but they are not what I worry about... There are too many others who carry weapons and move into our cities with criminal motives on their minds, such as Montgomery County, Maryland, which by the way is heavily Democratic... Men and women of all ages; grandparents and children; all sitting together surrounded by border patrol agents. This was hard to see; it definitely tugged at my heart.
