More on “the Book”

Well, the deal is done. I have signed the agreement with my agent at Studio B. Jeremy Wright, author of the upcoming Blog Marketing, author of Ensight.org as well as good old friend of mine approached me a few weeks ago about whether I’d be interested in co-authoring a book geared toward those just beginning or wanting to begin in the blog world. The book will examine some real life examples of those who have succeeded in blogging and perhaps look at how they became successful and maybe help bring some ideas to the table on how the reader can succeed in blogging. One question I’d like to address, but we’ll see how things pan out, is defining success in the eyes of the blogger. What does the blogger see as successful and how to achieve those levels of success. We’ll see how things go.

The next step, of course, will be Jeremy and I getting together and strategizing on the writing. Hopefully we’ll ramp up to writing sometime in September.

Stay tuned!

Updated: Jeremy has now put his announcement out there as well. You can read it here.

So are we going to see you on Fox News one of these days peddling your book? Are we going to see an endless series of books by you thereafter? When you make it big, don’t forget us little guys…

In all seriousnesss, congratulations and good luck with the deal. Hopefully, this leads to bigger and better things.

I’m planning on trying this one and seeing how I like it. Studio B has already hinted at the fact there might be more opportunities for me, so we’ll see how much I like it. :)
