Technosailor v4.0 Launched

As you no doubt are seeing, I’ve launched my new theme, Technosailor v4.0. I have a lingering issue that I realized was an issue on botht themes, so why hold up this one?

It has been reviewed and previewed by various readers (Thanks Jerald, Mike, Eric and a handful of others from SitePoint and WordPress.org). It has passed the Safari and Opera tests which, though negligible in users, was important to support.

The theme is based on the Adventure theme from PHPZEN.

I also gives me a lot of flexibility in terms of what I can do. The issues that linger (mentioned above) involve tag searching. If you click on a tag on the right, it does not pull up relevant results… it displays everything (unless the tag is actually one of the original categories I used, such as “Op-Ed” for instance). I’ll keep working on that. For now, enjoy the theme. If you find anything that needs work, just let me know. The Known Issue item remains in place in the menu for now. It will be removed at some point.

You might want to look at the BLOGROLL page playa. Maybe it me but you don’t get a whole page. Other than that I like this.

i don’t think your poll results are tracking correctly – i voted on great but i prefer the old one and it doesn’t show in the poll results…

Maureen— I just voted for the second option and it recorded it. Sounds like maybe the error is on your end?

ID-10-T error? ;)

Hey AJ– It is a modified version of the Adventure theme that <a href=”http://www.alexking.org/index.php?content=software/wordpress/themes.php#untested”>you can find at Alex King’s site. It was in a list of untested themes. I downloaded it, tested it, liked it, modified it for myself. I don’t like how the guy coded it and I made wholesale changes to some of the code. I have not redistributed this one because I want mine to be the only one of its kind in terms of aesthetics). Plus it is highly dependent on a bunch of plugins that not everyone has installed.
