Alito Debate

Fiery little liberal hell-hole going on over at Alas! where the feminist majority seem to think that by bitching enough, Senators will forget that he is an extremely accomplished lawyer AND federal judge that was unanimously approved for the federal bench in 1990.

Nice comment war going on between me and a few other solid folks and the flaming Amazons. It’s interesting that when liberals have no argument except hatred of the opposition, we get quotes like:

Do you expect P-A, who is progressive, to be particularly thrilled at pro-strip-search, pro-dominion-over-wives justice to be nominated?

…and…

He doesn�t deserve consideration of any choice he makes.

…and…

And do you expect anyone with half a brain or more to be thrilled about the fact that Bush nominated a foaming-at-the-mouth ideologue to the bench?
