While, I certainly empathize with those who live in strife, those in the inner city will only rise up and get the legacy of poverty not by politicians, but through initiative, hard work and self-worth. Just because Steele is a Republican does not make him any less worthy of being African-American, than let's say Democrat Kweisi Mfume, who by the way has had trouble of his own in the past...
