New York City: Day 3
My final day in New York City saw awesome progress. We went to Greenwich Village where we found a Starbucks to hole up in for the day. I stayed much longer than Jeremy who decided to go visit the site of the World Trade Center and catch a show in Times Square. Me? I was intent on finishing my writing for the book. With a chapter and a half to go, I had a steep climb. I did not finish my drafts but I did get halfway through the last chapter and completed my second to last chapter. It is sitting in Jeremy’s inbox for peer review.
Hopefully this next week I’ll finish the last of it and be able to send it off to SpiderWorks for their “red pen of justice”.
Tomorrow I go home. Jeremy needs to be at the airport at 7am and I’ll head home for, hopefully, a quiet evening. Of course, I’ll have to get a good night sleep because my wife and her mom need to be dropped off at the airport Friday morning. Nicole’s grandmother has passed away and she is heading to Florida for the funeral.
Until tomorrow…
