Web 2.0 in Reverse?

Looking through some of the new and upcoming services and web applications hitting the street in the latest tech bubble, the Web 2.0 craze, I came across Funtigo. Now I can’t speak as an expert on Funtigo, but it looks to be a Flickr rip-off with some bells and whistles.

Of course, when I say bells and whistles, I mean literally. Says Walter Mossberg of the Wall street Journal in a quote ripped straight from Funtigo’s home page”

Funtigo provides funky backgrounds and allows users to add music and even cartoony speech balloons to pictures.

Woooheeee! You’re telling me I can add annoying jingles and mind-numbingly dizzzying backgrounds? Cool! Just like the good old days! It’s Geocities 1995 all over again!
