The end of 2005 is right around the corner and I must admit it has been one helluva ride. Many things going that had me wonderig and honestly at some point scared. We go back and look at our troops being in Iraq, the Katrina & Rita catastrophies, The Pope & Rosa Parks death, and even the fires in Texas & Oklahoma all has me concerned about my place in this life and even my tomorrow.
In the mist of all of this I have gained many friends. I can name all of them but I can thank them for keeping me (as best they could) on track with something.
I am anxious for the new year because I do believe it has many blessings in store for me. I know there are also some things that I must do in order to achieve those blessings and I am ready to do them. Here are a few:
1. Commit more time to building my spiritual life.
2. Stop smoking (keep me in prayer for this one)
3. Stop drinking
4. Get into excerising
5. Commit time to building my home business
6. Move my family into a new home
7. Get into understanding how to invest
8. Get some certifications
9. Be a better husband & father
There are many more but these are just a few. I pray the new year brings blessing to everyone. May the worries & troubles of the old year stay in the old year and become just a memory of what it took to achieve the goals we all have set for the new year.
This is just my little 2 cents. God Bless.
Each one, Teach one

All very noble and quite achievable goals. My only suggestion or addition to that list (and I feel that it rightly should be #1) is to: Have a better relationship with God.
It doesn’t have to be “My God” but yours will do nicely. I think (contrary to all the devisiveness they are one and the same being).
But seriously, when everyone talks about miracles, blessings, and good fortune, these are gifts that our Father in Heaven has blessed us with, and it is Him, that we should be thanking.
I don’t mean to get “religion” on anyone here, but, honestly, everything we have is because He has given and it’s Him we need to be greatful for.
The rest will come when we have turned over our burdens and trials to Him to take care of.
:) Be safe this Holiday Season!

Sean,
Have a great New Year! You’ve been a great friend and ally! Two years on and I’m still glad I know you. That’s gotta be your all time record for how long a white guy likes you, right? :)
Peace, my man. I’ll likely be parallel with you on your items this year.
aaron.

Why thank both of you David & Aaron.
David I totally agree with what you have said. I wasn’t trying to be long winded on that one but I do agree.
Aaron there are no words to describe how much I really do value our friendship. I know as friends and allies we will accomplish much more in the NEW Year.
Thanks for everything dude.
P.S. Sean May is holding the White Guy record right now. He has 9 years.
