First Day at a New Job

I’ve been looking for a new job for a few months as I attempt to steady my failing finances. The past week has seen a bit of a flurry on that front.

I interviewed for a job with a local ISP last week. They thought I was overqualified but it was only a part-time gig and there’s some opportunity for some learning and growth in some areas I haven’t really done well for myself. Namely .NET.

Tonight was the first night on the job. I work my Northrop Grumman job during the day and head home to work evenings at the ISP. Mainly, I’ll be doing PHP and systems administration (Linux and Windows). They are paying me well with an open door for more, should I perform well… trust me, I perform well…

But now I’m tired.
