Sponsor Me for Blogonomics

I’ve known about this for a few weeks now and have been excited about trying to get there. Where is there? There is the Blogonomics Blog Cruise in October. The cruise is a 5-day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico.

Blogonomics Cruise Itinerary
The Blogonomics Cruise is a floating blog conference on the topical subject of blogging as business. There will be alot of great people there and four top notch speakers, Jeremy Wright, Jim Turner, Scott Goldbratt, and Triss Hussey. The topics of discussion will be:

  • Choosing and developing content
  • Blog metrics
  • Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Blog Marketing
  • Using a Blog for a Specific Campaign
  • Business Applications and RSS
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Monetization
  • A Study in Real Life Blog Success
  • Building Your Blog Design
  • Photo Techniques and Photologs
  • RSS Techniques

I am looking at this cruise as an investment in the future of my own blogging. Currently, I am running 5 blogs and in some way managing 3-4 others and any help I can get in this area is worth it to me.

With the key people who will be there as attendees (Darren Rowse of Problogger and Duncan Riley of the Blog Herald to name just a few), I see the $1300 that includes all expenses as worth every penny.

I don’t ask for money on this blog. I have tried to leverage advertising and other business ventures to fund every aspect of this blog, including the time investment. However, this time I am asking for help.

On my RSS feed alone, I have over 100 subscribers. This blog typically gets between 6000 and 10000 unique visits a month. If you read this blog and take value from the content put here or on any of my other blogs, I’m asking that you consider sponsoring me with a substantive donation. This is a one time thing and there will be no feature-limits for those that opt not to. Call it a good will donation telling me that you like what I write and you support me doing it.

In exchange, I will be posting a special page of contributors giving you your due credit. There is a Paypal donation link on the right. If you wish, you can leave your mailing address and I will be certain to send you a thank you gift from my time in Mexico.

Thanks in advance and I hope that the blogging continues to become more valuable for you as readers.

Sorry Aaron, I know you desire this trip, but if I can swing paying for a cruise to Cozumel and back, I’d like to be on it!

I’ve added a special page listing sponsors. :) The best thing that could happen is for people to not allow themselves to be outdone by someone else! :)

Ah you’ve got other ways to pay me since you’ll be on the cruise. Introduce me to some of your better-known cohorts and that will be payment enough. :)

[...] We are seeing numerous bloggers voicing their excitement about attending, but Aaron Brazell of Technosailer feels so strongly about attending the cruise that he has set up his Blog Cruise fund.  It is this kind of excitement that drives us here at One By One Media and we wish Aaron all the luck in reaching his goal and seeing him on-board in October.
