In search of a good 3-Column layout

You can see that VentureFiles has a nice basic 2 column design. I snagged it
from a good designer as I pursue my own nirvana of design.

I really want to implement a 3 column design. Here are my reasons:
-
Better layout of content
- Space for extra goodies (flickr, blog roll)
-
Ability to have some ad space that doesn’t annoy my precious and special
subscribers
