Flat on My Back

I’ve just spent the past 24 hours in hell. Yesterday morning, I woke up with tightness in my chest and a small cough which made me think I was coming down with bronchitis. By mid-morning, I realized that this was not bronchitis. I was not sure what this was but I could barely walk from the pain in my joints. I could not hold my head up straight because to do so meant I had to show courage under fire and that just wasn’t in the cards.

I left work about 12:30 and stopped for some medicine – Nyquil particularly. When I got home, I took the Nyquil and passed out on the couch. I woke up briefly around 7pm and then it’s been a solid sleep since – almost 24 hours worth of sleep. I am up and around for the moment, but again, I’m in pain so I’m probably destined for the couch again.

    Funny….I’ve been in bed for the past several days myself with “something”…. Saturday I came home from a 10 and a half hour shift, threw up some blood, been in bed since Tuesday morning…currently it just seems to be a sore throat, and a slight cough but otherwise fine….

    You didn’t get it from me either LOL
