Many of you remember back in August when my wife and I separated and it appeared headed for certain divorce. I was set on it and made life very difficult to have any other conclusion come about. It was several months after that that I wrote this entry on our anniversary called An Open Letter to My Wife.
This was actually a pivotal moment as it cemented a change in my mind. I realized that the path we were on was not the path that I wanted and I was the driving force behind the separation. I realized that if happiness was really what I was after that happiness and fulfillment would only come with one woman.
Of course just because this decision was in my mind didn’t mean that damage was fixed and everything was perfect. That began six months of healing and counseling and working on the many issues. All culminating in this weekend. She has decided it is time to move home and I’m welcoming her on Friday.

Congrats Aaron!
I wish the two of you success in the healing process. Marriage isn’t easy. This is my second time around, and I can certainly say, it doesn’t get any easier. Work, commitment, communication. That’s what marriage is. Love is a luxury sometimes.

This seems a very hard thing to do nowadays, but you have managed it - realising what you want and then doing everything you can to achieve it.
