Technosailor Goes to Mexico Powered by Qumana

mazatlan.jpgQumana, the desktop blog editor that I’ve reviewed and have used extensively since the Q3 beta release awhile ago is sending my wife and I to Mexico for my birthday for 7 days spanning Labor Day Weekend.

Yes, that means that I will be visiting a country that I’ve never been to in my life twice in a span of 5 weeks.

Really, I won something. I never win anything. But since I was already using Qumana to write posts for several of my blogs, I figured it wouldn’t be a lot of extra work to enter the Qumana Ski or Surf Ultimate Vacation. I only had to write 20 entries with the “Powered by Qumana” tagline and then follow up with a landscape of blogging style entry describing the whats/whens/hows of my blogging process. You may remember it.

The prize options were 5 days skiing in Whistler, British Columbia (VERRRY tempting) or 7 days in Mazatlan, Mexico. This obviously requires prompt action on my part to get a new camera.

Thank you, Arieanna and the Q3 team. You all rock.

Update: It would appear destiation packages for Mazatlan around the beginning of September (My Birthday and Labor Day) are pretty poor so we’re working closely with Qumana on an alternate. It looks like an all inclusive At a Cancun resort is in order for us. :) Can’t wait.

Our pleasure! Let’s make sure you at least see different sides of Mexico ;)

I’ve never even seen the Pacific ocean (well, except for from a plane when I went to Japan)

Does this mean you will have a prime opportunity to do some investigative “blogging” on the “other side of an illegal immigrants life”?

;)

Just had to ask.

Congrat Aaron, have fun, and try not to drink the water ok?

Hehe…. I’ll be blogging about the tiki bar not being able to serve Pina Colada’s because the night before was ladies night and it wiped them out of pineapple juice. :)

that’s wicked awesome aaron! have a great time! (one tip, check out the “local supermarkets” for bottled water – much cheaper than what they hawk to tourists!)
