Blog Herald Paint Job and My New Gig
Today is a big day for fans of the Blog Herald. It has recieved a new paintjob courtesy of Chris Pearson. There are some other changes underway too. If you remember, I wrote about Blog Herald not too long ago.
It would be arrogant to think I can single handedly change things over at Blog Herald, but if you recall I spoke somewhat negatively about the direction I felt it was going as a blog that once was the premiere source for blogging news and, erm, blogging. However, today is also my day as I have started as a regular writer for the blog.
As with any situation where a blogger comes into an existing situation, I’ll have to sort of feel my way for a bit and try to figure out the right symbiosis of blog and blogger – what voice to take on that particular blog, what direction my blogging should take there. I have some ideas. It will be different than my blogging on similar topics here and at ProBlogger.
In fact, blogging here, at ProBlogger and at Blog Herald is going to be quite an exercise in balance for me. All cover the same world but none can be identical and none can be the same as the other. That’s my challenge – to offer fresh insight and topics at all three, without any of the others suffering. Hope I’m up to the challenge. I think I am. :)
