Soaked and Floating Away
I made it into work today. It was a soaker all weekend, particularly yesterday. Areas of the Maryland recieved a foot of rain while most other parts suffered a meref 6-7 inches. Power outages, flooding, “water rescues” (Are we rescuing people from the water or are we actually rescuing the water? Hmmm) and more made for a hairy commute.
More rain and flooding is expected throughout the week. Lovely.

I was in the Poconos this weekend with a dog that just wanted to swim. Thank goodness Saturday was dry. My lawn is saturdated, but I am happy that I don’t have to mow this week!

Just when I read that we were under a draught and couldn’t water our lawns… must be Georgia govt’s twisted sense of humor or something. I’ve got a lake in my back yard, why in the hell would I want to turn on a sprinkler?? LOL

I have a little water…maybe 1/4″ in spots in the basement. Other than that, no complaints about the rain. Saves me from having to water the sidewalk garden.
