Flight to SF

This entry is written en route from Philadelphia to San Francisco. It is published at a later date.

Well this is fun. I realize now as I’m pushing 30 years old that I have no patience for travelling anymore. When I was younger, I could easily travel for 8-10 hours at a time without cracking a sweat. I’ve been on this flight for 4.5 hours now and I’m going nuts.

Perhaps it’s in the fact that I am in a jam-packed plane, surrounded specifically by Steve Pyser from Dialogue and Facilitation Services with Integrity (who rocks), and a large family that seems like they have never travelled before.  The young child is mostly good for his age but carries on enough to make it obnoxious. Someone keeps kicking my chair and I feel like I’m on a flight to Florida with all the grandparenty folks who seem to have to
get up every five minutes  to use the bathroom.

Fortunately my iPod has tremendous battery life, though my laptop is another story. I could not get through an hour long episode of The Wire because my battery died. I have expansion bay batteries as extra but that doesn’t help me watch a DVD when I have to use the bay for the battery.

So far this has been a smmoth trip though, so I can’t complain. The flights have been smooth. I’m leaving triple digit heat in Baltimore and look forward to the 65F San Francisco weather.

This afternoon I’m doing a Podcast with Cam Reilly of The Podcast Network. Subject? Blog Architecture. Should be fun. I’ll post a link when Cam gets it ready. This evening? Well… might just take it easy or wandder over to Fisherman’s Wharf for some seafood.

I know what you mean. This is the main reason I only travel about 3 hours by plane.

Dude. You have GOT to stop flying coach.

Sardine cans are for suckers. I’m going to have that printed on t-shirts, sell them, and take over the world with my t-shirt empire.
