It was a wild day yesterday. I still plan to write an all-encompassing wrap-up over at Blog Herald. However, I’ll add a few personal tidbits here as well.
It was really a wild day. Met some really great people. It was awesome to actually rub shoulder with Matt Mullenweg and the entire Automattic team. There was only one Automattic guy who I did NOT like and because I’m nice I won’t mention his name.
At any rate, I was able to present the Blog Architecture session and used this site and the recent overhaul as a guide for the discussion – taking audience discussion over new and innovative ways to drive traffic deeper into your blog. It was fun and someone, at least, seemed to think the session made me the best speaker of the day. I really don’t agree, but it was nice to hear. One thing is for certain – Om Malik is full of crap and I’ll be talking about that later this week in a podcast over at blog Herald.
Another mention from the same blog casts my session in more positive light! Thanks, mate. But I can’t comment on your blog without logging in and registration is turned off….

Sorry I didn’t get to introduce myself yesterday (I was driving straight through from Iowa and arrived late). Zach said he saw you speak in the morning and said it was pretty good stuff.
