But those are not the majority of journalists writing or being read. And they are not journalists who are necessarily taken more seriously than any other. Most journalists who do that kind of research are unknown to and unread by the mass public. <br><br>I think it's going to flip soon and someone will say "if journalists are going to be taken seriously, they have to follow the same rules that Bloggers follow," namely to have strong opinions and firm knowledge about what you're writing (hmmm, are those blogger rules? dunno...).<br><br>Circulation of papers is on the decline, if I remember correctly. It would be nice to have a link to a statistic on that, but I'm a blogger and clearly don't do any research or legwork. I wish I had been there.
