Guest Bloggers Next Week

Posted by: Aaron Brazell

Saturday Morning, I’ll be on my way to Mexico to enjoy the things that people enjoy while in Cancun. In my stead, I’ve got three very capable people filling in throughout the week.

Darren McLaughlin
Darren is a frequent reader of this blog and hails from Blog Republic. I’ve always enjoyed Darren’s insightfullnes. He “gets” it, when it comes to this blogging stuff.

Michael Hampton
Michael is ace in his areas of I.T. security as well as scorn of government. He is a Libertarian’s Libertarian and runs Homeland Stupidity and Lunacy Unleashed.

Duncan Riley
Duncan is one of the principal owners of b5media and, as the Vice President of Operations, he is my “boss” - though I rarely listen to him. ;) When asked about doing some guest writing, Duncan asked me to tell him what to write about and I gave him free reign because, if you know Duncan, you know that trying to get him to stay between the lines is a losing battle. :)

I’m looking forward to coming back and seeing what these guys put out. I’ve extended an invitation to all three to introduce themselves before I leave, but that will be up to them.

    Twitter Pitch!

Twitter pitching is a form of pitch that requires succint "what does this mean for me" kind of pitching. It is the ultimate efficiency of words. You have 140 characters or less to tell me why your pitch matters to me or my readers. Please include a means of contacting you. This is included in your 140 characters. If you send successive pitches, you will likely be ignored, unless it's obvious that the first pitch was a case of "accidental send", etc.

This form of pitching does not mean I'm being a diva. It means that my time is valuable, and you want a piece of it. It's good practice for you, and delivers your pitch in a format I want. Win-win.
