Your Music Minute

I was having some fun earlier today. I usually pick up my guitar and play for a little while in the morning. Keeps me fresh and creative and helps clear my mind for the day. Well since it’s Monday and I had my computer open watching for Monday-ish kind of things to happen via email, I decided to just play a song. It takes a lot of guts to record yourself playing and singing when there’s no video, but add video to the mix and it’s downright scary.

So here I am, doing a rendition of Staind “So Far Away” with low sound and video quality. Don’t laugh… too hard. Warning: at times I go off-key. Cringe, I can take it. I am.

Update: Re-released in the key of E instead of F#. :)

Hsien: it’s not. You just get treated with little “fliers” here or there. haha

No, a full step. Hell, even two. Your voice is fuller at the lower ranges.

I’ll step aside now, as I can’t even sing chopsticks :-D

If I had a tiny pic of clapping hands- you would see it. Bravo!

i agree with Jeremy– your voice is fuller–how about key of D? I bet you can sing bass even. ;) I’ll even harmonize and play the keyboard for ya.
