User privacy should win in the end, with better protocols and more control over what gets shared with whom. The biggest issue is when the user\'s privacy is compromised by poor programming practices or lousy judgement by social platform developers. Not everyone is tech-savvy enough to even know a breach occurred, until it\'s too late. @UK, I like competition… it usually leads to better applications.
