Personally, he got a little too comfortable in his job, and what matter is W's and L's. The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately sport" and Billick didn't do a whole lot. It was about time he went, though he'll be getting a fat check for the next three years. However, I would have given him another shot with perhaps a slightly different cast of characters. In the end, it looks like they'll have to rebuild considering the current crop of players they've got. I know I would love to have his severance pay.
