McCain's wiretap position hasn't changed. McCain's advisor was talking about wiretaps overseas.

McCain has stated repeatedly that he would follow the 1978 FISA law.

McCain says it is the duty of the president to follow the laws passed by congress.

Bush disagrees with McCain by ignoring the law.

McCain position hasn't changed. The media has once again taken McCain out of context.

McCain is also against signing statements. He calls them unconstitutional and says he will either sign a law or veto a law.

Obama on the other hand is for continuing Bush's policy of signing statements.

This has become a coronation not an election.

90 percent of the stories about Obama by the media are positive while 20 percent about McCain are positive.

The media is turning this nation into a one party system.

The dems will have filibuster proof majority in the senate with over 60 seats, 300 house seats, the presidency, the supreme court and the media.

This election will be a rout for Obama. Just like in Russia when the media is on your side you are unbeatable.

Totally valid. Which tools are they using, has it been effective, who's 'getting it' and who's just trying to keep up. Are they just marketing to communities online or are they engaging them....

And no, you don't exactly compete with Mashable but I need SOMEONE who talks social media and tech to lay it out for me OBJECTIVELY.

I remain 'undecided' on the 'who's hotter' question. I need to see Cashmore and Brazell policy plans first. :)

Erin, I might. I don't compete with Mashable though. Well, except in the "Which Lead Editor is hotter, Pete Cashmore or Aaron Brazell?" department. I also don't want to get too embroiled in politics, but that might be a valid crossover-post.

I would actually like to see a Technosailor review of how the Obama and McCain campaigns have utilized social media-since you are so 'on the fence' or at least trying to look at it objectively. Mainly because Mashable's analysis made my head explode.
