If your idea is good enough and you don't need pesky things like health insurance for your kids you should still go for it (especially if you don't need much outside help from VCs and the like); the rewards could be a lot greater when good times return.<br><br>I'm in a "stable job" and have been for yearsnow , though I wouldn't call any job "stable" with confidence given current trends.
