at the risk of sounding pompous I might add, our hashtag in twitter #wci continues to live even now (4 months after the event). ppl just can’t get over it :P. Feels nice to have created something like that – a feeling I am sure you identify with :P :)

lots of insights. Congrats on having organised such a wonderful event! I am sure it was an event different from many others esp due to the “risks” taken :)

Having organised India’s first WordPress camp, I know what it takes! BTW must add here, that India’s First WP camp had ppl coming in from remote corners of the country (even villages) which I had never heard of, though the actual event was held in Delhi, the capital of the country. (We even had one person from Nepal!) It was a wonderful experience and we received great feedback from the entire Indian community. Look forward to more such insights from you.

I, for one, was looking forward to the Baltimore setting, as that was the “landing page” for my ancestors when they immigrated to the US at the start of the 20th Century. I always give myself an extra day to stay there and look around. And you really have a choice of cities to visit from there if you allow yourself a little extra time. 90 minutes in any direction and everything changes …. like a color wheel.
