I agree with you that transparency is very important. It reveals our attitude. And, like Seth Godin said in “The hierarchy of success” ( http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2009/09/the-hierarchy-of-success.html ), the attitude is at the top of the hierarchy.

Looks like the speaking gigs might pay off for you, too. There’s a huge demand for guys who know what they are talking about. If you did 28 this year, surely you can start earning money from them. I’ve used a speakers bureau in the past – might be worthwhile checking into that.
