MySQL 4.1 Production Ready

In a long awaited press release, MySQL has finally released MySQL 4.1 as it’s recommended version. Finally, there are enterprise-level features available in the popular database platform:

Subqueries and Derived Tables
GUI and Configuration Wizards for Windows and Linux providing an easier mechanism for optimization.
OpenSSL encrypted transport protocols.

TextPattern 1.19 Released

Textpatter 1.19 Gamma was released this weekend. Cool new features include custom fields and enhanced pinging utilities. I;’m sure I’ll find more. Needless to say, Technosailor is happily using this release.
