I had a chance to visit NASA yesterday for a very intimate tour of the projects they are working on and to discuss, among other things, future missions NASA plans to embark on.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut. Hell, when *you* were a kid, you wanted to be an astronaut. Then, one day, we grew up and realized we were destined to more traditional careers like lawyer, accountant or *gasp* social media consultant. Yeah, we didn’t end up quite as sexy as we hoped we would in those days of being of single-digit age.

I am very pleased, as I’m sure everyone is, that Discovery made it safely home this morning. It is always good to welcome our explorers home from the great wilderness in the sky. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I woke up this morning and had the breaking news alert in my email.
